As a native of Stowe and having grown up at Stoweflake, no one has learned the ins and outs of the resort like Scot.

After graduating from Trinity College and gaining experience in the hospitality industry, he rejoined his family at Stoweflake on the Sales Team in 1995. Scot’s upmost professionalism and outgoing nature has crafted him to become the most useful resource in leading his talented Sales and Conference Team.

As for his favorite thing about Stowe: the fantastic outdoor opportunities for every season. Talk to him in person and he will likely get to talking about his talented two kids or his next outdoor sports adventure involving trail running or backcountry skiing down unchartered paths. (Trust us when we say he knows it all, we’re still trying to keep up with him.)

Devin Gleason

Director of Sales and Marketing

As a passionate Stowe local Devin’s days are filled with skiing the towns many trails and his favorite backcountry stashes, mountain biking Stowe’s impressive terrain and always wrapping up the day with one of his favorite Double IPA’s. Devin’s two young sons share in his passion for the outdoors and can often be found trailing close behind on his various adventures. “My passion for where I live, this community and the mountains we get to play in everyday is the foundation of everything I do both professionally and personally.”

A Graduate of Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island and Avon Old Farms Preparatory Academy in Connecticut, Devin is an experienced hotelier and valuable addition to the team. Devin begin his career in hospitality as a Sales Manager here at the Stoweflake prior to spending three years as the Director of Sales at the famed Chatham Bars Inn in Chatham Massachusetts. Devin then held positions with Benchmark hospitality acting as Director of Sales and Marketing for both the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa and The Topnotch Resort. Devin has now come full circle in his return to the Stoweflake.

Amanda Gonyaw

Conference and Event Planner

As a recent graduate of Northern Vermont University with a degree in both Business Management and Hospitality Tourism Amanda is a valued addition to the Stoweflake conference team.

Amanda is regularly moved and reminded of how special the town of Stowe is when she sees and hears about her clients various experiences in nature and on the hiking trails she both plays in and holds so near and dear. “Watching those who don’t normally get to breath our fresh mountain air and watching the clarity, perspective and inspiration it brings them is one of the things I love most about my job.”

In Amanda’s free time she can be found exploring the various hiking trails in the area. Amanda is also an avid dancer who specializes in the styles of Hip Hop, Modern and Jazz.

Eric Plante

Banquet Supervisor

Eric has been with the Stoweflake team for over 20 years. Eric’s hard work and organizational skills make him the perfect person to run the Conference Center at Stoweflake. He is accustomed to working closely with group leaders to ensure each meeting and function exceeds expectations and to ensure each attendee is left with everlasting memories.

Eric was recognized by the Lamoille Region Chamber of Commerce for his outstanding dedication with the “Excellence in Service Award.” Eric’s recognition by his peers have also earned him the “Total Resort Employee of the Year Award” and the “Unsung Hero of the Year Award,” both of which illustrate his ongoing commitment to Stoweflake’s valued clientele.

Outside of work Eric dedicates his time to his wife, daughter, beloved dogs, and can be found tearing up the basketball court or managing his vast collection of various sports cards.

Christoph Wingensiefen

Food and Beverage Director & Executive Chef

Christoph oversees the award-winning cuisine of the resort’s in-room dining and two on-property restaurants – Charlie B’s Pub & Restaurant and the Spa Cafe, as well as the Resorts Banquet offerings. Chef Christoph’s appointment demonstrates Stoweflake’s commitment to provide an unsurpassed dining experience for its guests by integrating locally made and grown Vermont flavors. Christoph works closely with his Front of House management team to ensure the quality food experience is extended to a high level service experience.

Prior to joining Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa, Christoph was chef instructor at the renowned New England Culinary Institute. His background in hospitality spans 33 years, during which he worked at various restaurants, hotels and resorts throughout Germany and the U.S. including the Five-Star, Five-Diamond Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach, the Golf club Schloss Luedersburg in Germany, Arnaud’s Restaurant in New Orleans, and the historic Homestead Golf & Ski Resort in Hot Springs, VA. Chef Christoph earned his early training at the first culinary institute in Cologne, Germany where he spent 11 years studying and training as an apprentice.
